sfatosu.com and its project sites are made by Tudor Sfatosu. You are welcome to use them to explore and learn. In return, please do not copy them.

© 2026 Tudor Sfatosu. All rights reserved. This covers the Interactive Globe and every other project here: the texts, the data and how it is chosen and arranged, the maps, timelines and tours, the voices, pictures and videos, the design and the code.
Some parts belong to others and keep their own licences, for example map outlines, typefaces and code libraries. Magazin istoric shows Treboniu Laurian’s magazine, which is in the public domain; the reader built around it is Tudor’s.
The games are open
Two projects are the exception to the above. Reșița Open World is licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0: you may share and adapt it, with credit, not for money, under the same licence; its map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License. The Croft Manor viewer shows TRJTA’s model, shared under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, and this copy of the model is shared under the same licence; Core Design, Lara Croft and Tomb Raider are trademarks of Embracer Group AB. The source of both is on GitHub (resita-open-world, croft-manor-viewer).
What you may do
- Use the sites yourself, to explore, learn and teach, without paying.
- Share links to any page.
- Share a video you made with a globe’s Record button, or a screenshot, if you credit “Interactive Globe · sfatosu.com”.
- Quote a few lines with a credit and a link, as you would quote a book.
What you may not do without written permission
- Copy, download, save or republish the pages, texts, data, maps, voices or code, whole or in part, beyond the quotes and videos above.
- Scrape, crawl, mirror or harvest any part of the sites, by hand or with a program, or use them to train or feed an AI model.
- Take the code apart to get at the data, or get round the sign-up, the limits on how much can be read, or any other protection.
- Share your sign-in link or cookie, or sign up in bulk or with addresses that are not yours.
- Put the sites in a frame on another site, or make a copy of them, renamed or not.
Access may be limited or ended for anyone who breaks these terms.
Accuracy
The projects are made with care for learning and pleasure, not as an authority. Dates are often rounded and debated, and mistakes are possible. Tell Tudor, and the mistake will be put right.
